The Rainbow House: Created by Lloyd "Ace" and Claire Parsons beginning in 1972, demolished August 11, 1999.  All photographs by Richard Hovey unless credited otherwise.


Dolls were a major interior decoration theme along with owls, stars and, of course, bright colors.

Located on the north shore of the Columbia River across from Portland, Oregon, Vancouver, Washington (USA) was the first major European settlement in the Northwest before Portland, Seattle and that city in Canada we are so often confused with -- Vancouver, British Columbia
